Graduation!
Herro my dear friends!
It's slowly starting to hit me that I'm no longer a student at UT. I can't believe I'll be graduating this week. I've been waiting for this day since my freshman year of college and it's finally here!
I've always been told from my hyungs that four years of college life flies by quickly, but for me, that was not the case. My four years of college life felt long. Perhaps it's because of all those nights studying in the library or late night talks with my fellow crossroaders, but I feel as if I've been in Austin for a very long time.
I've learned so much over the years. I'm so thankful for all the people I've met in college. I've learned the most about life from the people I met in my college career. It's amazing how there's always something you can learn from people no matter who they are as long as you let go of your pride and willing to listen to what he/she has to say. My thoughts, attitude, and principles have changed so much since my freshman year that if I traveled back in time 4 years from now and met my past self I wouldn't be able recognize him.
But you know what? I'm excited about graduating! I'm really excited about entering this new stage in my life. I'm still not too sure what I'll be doing for the next year, but I feel prepared for the upcoming challenges. I trust in the Lord that he'll open doors for me in the near future. I feel calm and at peace.

My Top 7 Pictures
I am very happy about my decision to take photojournalism my last semester at UT. I've always wanted to pick up photoshooting as one of my hobbies, but decided to delay it whenever I checked out the prices for the dslr cameras. This past winter I ignored every logic streaming from my mind and just acted upon my impulse... i bought a camera. The result? Happiness (or at least for the time being).
Photoshooting helps me express my thoughts in how I perceive the world. It makes me feel like an artist. I'm creating my own design using the events that are taking place right before my eyes. I am capturing the moment, the present, the NOW, into a frame. If anyone is debating on whether they should pick up photoshooting as a hobby or to take photojournalism, I recommend it 100%! :D

New Years 2010
Life just seems to be full of cycles. We wake up in the morning, wash up, eat breakfast, and do whatever we have scheduled for that day, only to repeat the same things the very next day. Even in a microscopic scale, cells are constantly undergoing cellular cycles. Like these cycles, time in itself seems to be an endless cycle. As 2009 comes to an end we enter a new refreshing cycle of 2010.
As with every ending year, I always find myself pondering and reflecting over the course of the year, only to end up with the same conclusion… growth. I can’t help but be amazed at how much I grow each year. Granted that each year is a bit different in terms of growth… (for instance, I’ve stopped growing physically a long time ago), I always find it helpful to reflect back to my past year to see what areas in my life to improve upon the following year.
I spent the majority of my 2009 spring going through some hardships and trials. In the end, the experience made me grow stronger. This past summer was spent in Africa. Africa was by far the most life changing experiences that I’ve ever had in my 3 and ½ years in college. To experience firsthand the life of a third world country is absolutely incredible. It really opened my eyes and made me realize how blessed I am living in Austin, attending a university, striving to pursue a dream that I am solely passionate about. The fall semester was filled with deepening my conviction in Christ and building strong relationships with people from AKPC.
As I head towards 2010, I look forward to the events that God has in store for me. Jeremiah 29:11 speaks so clearly to me, “… For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
